The HTC Mozart*

Posted by: Top Gear  :  Category: mobile phone

With the impending release of the Windows Phone 7 on November 8th, HTC is gearing up to release their Windows 7 phone, the HTC Mozart. The 119 x 60.5 x 11.9 mm phone will have a 3.7 inch 480 x 800 pixel TFT LCD touch screen which we hope will support multi touch.

The HTC Mozart will have 8 GB internal storage, 512 MB Rom and 576 MB of RAM. It will be powered by the 1GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 processor. The camera will be an 8 Mega pixel giant with Xenon flash and will also have 720p HD video recording ability and hopefully face and blink detection and touch to focus. It will have a bundle of sensors which include sensors for ambient light, gravity, compass, and proximity.

Connectivity wise it will have Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Audio wise it will have a 3.5mm audio port and will also have surround sound feature, so expect the sound quality to be the best. There is no word as to the text input method but it will most probably have the very popular QWERTY onscreen keyboard or if the HTC team decide to opt for a newer text input system they might go for the SWYPE system which lets the user input text by dragging his finger over the letters till they form a word.

The HTC Mozart phone will be coming to the UK this late October. Expect it to come with the normal £35 a month deal from all five carriers. The people of the US will have to wait till November for any Windows 7 device to come out there. So when the Windows 7 device and MeeGo devices come out by the end of the year you can expect this holiday season to be full of choices for a new smart phone.

Nokia N8 Black

The new Nokia N8 is gearing up to take on the mobile phones market and is going to be released in a range of different colour schemes including the sleek Nokia N8 Black edition.

This new Symbian phone breaks away from the normal designs many of Nokia’s handsets and offers a new, bevelled finish to what is looking like a very competent device, the new black Nokia N8 is to be joined by four other colour variants in the range including a Blue, Green, Orange and Silver version.

When we say ‘breaking new ground’ we really mean it, the Nokia N8 is the first veer phone from the manufacturer to feature a 12 mega pixel camera, now any camera enthusiast will know that mega pixels does not necessarily means high quality pictures but with the largest sized lens at 28mm and Carl Ziess optics on board the new N8 will be able to capture amazing pictures.

Add to this the fact that the N8 Black edition can record video in 720p HD quality and is the first phone to incorporate an HDMI socket allowing you to replay your recorded videos clips and captured photos on an HD TV for all to see and you can understand why the buzz around this new handset is already building.

The main touch screen measures a good 3.5 inches and offers OLED technology for a bright and clear display, there is also a comprehensive multimedia player as you would expect from the manufacturer as well as WiFi, HSDPA, 3.5G support and an expandable memory on top of the large 16GB internal offered.

Probably best of all is that this latest Nokia phone is going to fall within most peoples budgets, coming in at £320 as a SIM Free and unlocked handset the new N8 is going to be hugely cheaper than rivals such as the HTC Desire and new iPhone 4.

Another competitor to the Nokia N8 has to be the Sony Ericsson Vivaz which can also capture 720p HD video but lacks in the camera department by 4 mega pixels, the HTC Legend is also a good alternative with an AMOLED touch screen at 3.2 inches but again falls short with a 5.0 mega pixel camera.

The Black Nokia N8 is due for release in early September as a SIM Free phone, there are no confirmed release dates from the networks as yet as they are all trying to secure exclusive releases for the various colour schemes. Don’t be surprised if Orange bag the exclusive rights to sell the black edition as this is their preferred exclusive handset colour.

How to Spy on Cell Phone Text Messages

Posted by: Top Gear  :  Category: mobile phone

The cellphone spy program is being promoted by websites on the internet as the bugging device for parents and lovers who want to know what their loved ones are up to. For a small fee, anyone can spy on cell phone text messages, or even record cell phone conversations right from their home computer.

Parents consider cellphone monitoring as a preventive tool to watch over their kids activities, verify their locations, and see who they are hanging around with.

Disheartened lovers who use mobile phone spying defend it as a way to keep tabs on their significant other when they think there may be an affair or, other people involved in their relationship where secrets are being kept from them.

Incredibly, cellphone spying is a legal cellular eavesdropping device with no federal regulations. (at least not yet)

This opens the door to not just family members who want to keep tabs on their loved ones, but also to anyone else who wants to be a mobile phone spy.

Think corporate espionage, or even National Security here.

The internet websites promoting this service have no regulations and to use their programs, all the cellular spy user has to do is log onto their home computer or laptop and type in the phone number of the person they want to spy on.

In seconds they are reading the other persons private text information, or listening in on private conversations.

Another feature of the cellular eavesdropping program is after it’s installed, the user can turn on the phone of any other person and listen in on their live conversations without the other person ever knowing.

One more feature of the cellphone spy service is the GPS program. Once this is installed the user can easily locate the person they are looking for on a map from their computer.

Finding a cell phone spy program is as easy as going online and using any Google web browser to type in the words “CellPhone Spy”.

On the results page they’ll find an assortment of cell phone surveillance, or cellphone tapping ads, which will then lead them to the cellular spy websites where they can choose to purchase programs for reading text, or cellular phone tapping to record or listen in on conversations.

The cellphone spy websites offer a one time user fee, or a 1 year unlimited use fee, which allows the user to mobile phone spy on anyone at anytime they choose.

How to Reverse Lookup a Cell Phone Number

Posted by: Top Gear  :  Category: mobile phone

What is different about reverse cell phone number search in 2010/2011?

You are really going to like the answer to this question, as it benefits you, and not the phone company. We’ll get to it in a moment.

Assuming you are already familiar with what a reverse cell phone lookup is, this article will instead focus on what to look for, what to stay away from when conducting a reverse cellular telephone number search, and of course, how to conduct a successful search in 2010, 2011 and beyond.

First, let’s kill off a popular myth: You cannot do a reverse cell phone number search for free – anywhere, anytime. The cellular providers (like Sprint/T-Mobile/AT&T/Verizon – all of them) simply have nothing to gain by giving this information out. However, they have no problem selling this information to online reverse lookup companies who in turn get you the info you need – in exchange for a few dollars.

How to conduct your search

You always want to go with what is known as a “2 step” directory. This is where you enter the web-site, fill in the cell number in question and hit enter. This returns general results, like the state the phone number was registered in. Next, you decide between a one-time lookup, or a 12-month unlimited number lookup. Each service has a reasonable charge to it. In return, you find out whatever it is you need to know about who is calling you, your kids, your spouse or anyone else you care about (including full name and address).

WARNING: Not all reverse cellular lookup directories are created equal

Before you choose a directory, please use caution. An alarming majority of online directories provide inaccurate, or outdated information. They do offer money back guarantees if you’re unhappy, but due to the small size of these companies, that can be a long and frustrating process. You want to choose a reputable company with a great reputation, that has been in business for a few years.

Finally, the big changes this industry has seen in 2010 is two things: Anonymity and cost. Due to strict regulations, when you now conduct a reverse search, you are guaranteed anonymity – no one will ever know that you did this search. In earlier years, this could not always be said.

Regarding cost – up until around 2009, conducting just one reverse cell phone number lookup could run as high as $45. Because of fierce competition, I’m happy to say that the price-point has now been pressed all the way down to an affordable 10 dollars (on average).

In other words, conducting a reverse cellular lookup in 2010/2011 and beyond is a very cost effective, convenient and safe way to find the info you sorely need, and certainly a small price to pay to find out who’s been calling you or your loved ones.
